In the high res version of the picture of the ridge one can spot six climbers. There were three in our party and at least another six behind us. It's certainly a popular route and quite fun, but there's so much in the area that I'm not at all upset by Rèbuffat's decision not to include it in the top 100. It was my first climbing expedition to the area--I took a six-day course with the Courmayeur guides--but I'm definitely hooked.
