Wow. Was that shot taken in Sep? Its easy to see all the ice, but it is still snowier than I expected for late summer. I wanted to snowboard it this spring but the chances of that happening at the moment are almost zero.

Unfortunately (on the massif proper) I have never been further west than the Dome du Gouter (except for small peaks from Contamines down in the valley)
