Alpine choughs, or Alpendohlen, as we call them here, are omnipresent on the Untersberg. You're almost immediately crowded by them the moment you stop somewhere and put your rucksack down...On April 4th, there were quite a few people on Salzburger Hochthron, which attracted an adequate number of choughs. As I love the sight of birds flying over the mountains, I decided to try getting a couple of good captures of the choughs in flight.
