Overview

Julian Alps reach with the summit of Triglav 'only' 2864m. Somewhere in Central Alps this is the elevation on which roads bring you. But not in Julian Alps. In this wild, limestone area valleys are deeply carved into the massif and starting altitudes for climbing can be very low. That's why Julian Alps walls are among the highest in the Eastern Alps. Those who seek hard climbs wil find them here, and also climbs, which require good endurance.

This album will try to present not more than 15 highest walls in Julian Alps. In the beginning, I'm not sure if there are decent pictures of all on SummitPost. If not, please add them. The album intends to evolve...

Hi Vid!
May I suggest that this image of yours: http://www.summitpost.org/image/76227/153280/travnik.html
should be featured in the Album?
Cheers

You added the Rock Climbing tag (Image Type) to this Album. Would it not be more appropriate to use the Alpine Climbing Type, if the album is climbing oriented?
