I have pretty good footwork, but little upper body strength. I love slabs!

Thanks Lisa!
I don't climb slabs regularly - so every time I start up a slab route (not that I've done that many), the first couple of pitches are FREAKY for me before I somehow adjust to it. Good stuff though!!

I (heart) slabs too ... Funny thing is that the very first technical rock climbing I did outside was at Tollhouse Rock, toproping the Sunday Slab. Scary for a beginner (which compared to everyone in these pics I still am :) ! But soon I was up at Skyline Slabs practicing, and a couple of places at Castle Rock state park. Fun stuff.

Rob - thanks man!
Can you add some of your slab stuff ot the album? Whatever other stuff you think is relevant (Tuol.'s got to have tons of slab photos - I'm just not familiar enough with the place/routes to do a good search).

Radek, the guy with the good California slab shots is Dave Daly :)

Wish I had some good ones... I've been on Pywiack Dome, Stately Pleasure Dome, Pothole Dome, Puppy Dome, Lembert Dome, etc. but strangely have no slab climbing shots !

Wait, I think Dragger has some shots of Craig Peer on some incredibly thin slab somewhere ...

Thanks Martin!
Hope you're alright with this. I know some folks ask (some don't) for permission before including photos of others in an album. I assumed people would be OK with this - i.e. me not asking first - given that if anything their photos would receive additional viewings.

ooops... of course, that's the right thing to do... to ask, I mean - I didn't.

Thanks! Yeah - I hear you. I got scared on slabs in much less hairy situations than what you describe.
