Overview

At 5,150 feet Inspiration Peak is one of the highest peaks in Joshua Tree NP. The trail is a short trail, about 1.5 miles round trip, but the views are wonderful!

The trail head is located at northwest end of the Keys View parking area. After hiking up to the false summit, follow the trail that descends a saddle before ascending again to the true summit. The total elevation gain is about 600 feet.

These are a few pictures I took when my husband and I were there in April of 06.
