Winter(ish) Ascent of Drift Peak with 6 SP'ers

While not technically winter yet, it was still snowy and friggin' cold! Six Sp'ers got together on December 3rd, 2006 to climb Drift Peak....again (3rd attmept for one, 2nd attempt for the rest).

definately fun, but (as Andy put it) also a suffer-fest. The extreme cold, moderately windy ridge conditions, and various other hitches in the ascent made it that much better! Awesome pics Jeff, cannot wait for the accompanying TR!

I can see why they call it Drift Peak, and I'm catching the
drift on the remarkable scenery of Colorado. Thanks for
sharing it with us folks; those of us who stumble around in the desert AND take pictures of rocks.
