Shots from the trail up Mailbox!Due to the sunset and the fact that I need more conditioning I did not make quite to the summit of Mailbox Peak before sunset. However I do have some great sunset pictures from the higher section of trail in this area. Mailbox Peak is nice peak to train for higher mountains in the Cascades. It gains elevation at well over 1200 feet per mile and over 4000 feet from bottom to top. Don't except these pics to be the last from me about this mountain. I plan on heading up there again soon.
Feel free to add sunset pictures to this page. This peak looks to have some great views at sunset.
