Birds of Iceland

Iceland is a great destination for finding birds. The open terrain -- mostly tundra, rock, and grass -- makes them easy to find. The abundant sea resources make seabirds very abundant.

Also, there just aren't many competitors. Very few land animals made it to Iceland, but birds have found it easy to get there. As a result, they have many fewer predators except for one another.

Please feel free to attach any pictures that you have.
