Overview

Desoto Falls is a group of three falls that are located just south of Neals Gap Georgia. The upper falls is the largest, nearly 200 feet tall, but unfortunately after the 1992 suppersorm that hit the area with tornadoes the trail to that waterfall has been close. The middle falls are the second tallest and the nicest at 80 feet tall. This one can be reached by a 3/4 mile trail that is well maintain and only a slight incline. The third falls are the shortest at only 20 feet tall. This one can be reached by a 1/4 mile trail but it is much steeper than the upper falls. The best time to visit is in spring time from March to may when the water is the highest and there is less people. If anyone has any pictures of Desoto falls please attach them here.

Looks like the drought has really all but killed the falls. Hope they get some serious rain soon.
