Overview

These pictures are from the Northern areas of Joshua Tree National Park, which is part of the Mojave desert (whereas southern JTNP lies in the Colorado desert). The Mojave is much higher in elevation (4000 ft and up) which is why the Joshua trees are able to grow here.
