Introduction

The Mayerlrampe is definitely the most remunerative steep ice route at Grossglockner (up to 70º). The climb is much safer than it's more famous neighbours the Pallavicinirinne and the Berglerrinne.

I climbed the Mayerlrampe in october 2005 with two dutch climbers. We were lucky, perfect weather and perfect conditions!

We made a lot of pictures. This albums shows a selection of our pictures of this beautifull climb.

Thanks for your kind words Thomas! It is surtainly a great climb: long, difficult and a perfect combination of rock and ice. The climb was very special for me because I was only 18 years old.
