Diversity at the Peak

This is a cluster of flowers growing on a rock at the peak of Mt. Si. These flowers blanketed the peak and made for a beautiful and colorful landscape.

This tiger lily that I found at the summit of Mt. Si, surrounded by other flowers, is the most beautiful I have ever seen in my life. There were many of these plants all over the peak, but only this one had opened on the entire mountain.
As I climb and hike mountains and other trails, I always notice how beautiful the flowers are, especially at the summit. This album is for those plants that catch your eye on the peak of a mountain. Please post your pictures of these amazing and diverse plants to this album.

lcarreauGreat wildflowers!

Voted 10/10

I especially love the Tiger Lilly, one of my all-time favorites!
I used to see it on the northwest side of Mount Rainier NP.
