Cameron BasinOne of the jewels of Olympic National Park, Cameron Basin is in the northeastern section of the Olympic Range. Towering at the north end of the basin is Mt Cameron with it's glaciers tucked under the rock spires. The beautiful walls of mountains surrounding the basin are lush and green in the late summer. The basin itself is home to a dozen little waterfalls, a luxuriant expanse of wildflowers and meadow and wild huckelberries galore. The best time to visit is in late September when the basin turns red in the autumn colors.
