Pitztal may 2008About a year ago I bought myself the guidebook "Firn und Eisklettern in den Ostalpen". This guidebook contains allmost all the alpine north faces of the Eastern Alps. This may I finally got the chance to go to the Alps again. The choice was not very difficult. I love the ötztaler Alps, and therefore we decided to go to the Taschachhaus. From there you'll have the possibility to climb several interesting north faces. Because of the enormous amount of snow the conditions were very exhausting. We were able to climb the beautifull Taschach North Face and the Hinterer Brochkogel North Face.
