General DescriptionAttached are the most current topographic and other maps available. The topographic maps I purchased from the Instituto Geografico Militar and then scanned. The other maps I have been given permission to use. Unless otherwise noted, all topographic maps are at a scale of 1:50,000. I have not enlarged or reduced the sections I have scanned and North is always at the top of the map. Contour increments are noted for each individual map but are generally at 20m with supplementary intervals at 10m. If you would like to see some older topographic maps of Guatemala click here. Images
