Icefields Parkway

April 2008 I traveled the Icefields Parkway, from Banff to Jasper and back.. Here are some impressions of the route. The scenery was just breathtaking and unforgettable. Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I did taking them!

Thanks! Yes, the temperature difference between this album and my other (hiking in Crete) is about 50 - 60 degrees Celsius!! (100-110 deg F, I think..)

Haha! Well thanks for the nice words and glad to be of service. You can send me $3000 to go on *your* next adventure, surely you've always wanted to visit the Himalayas :-)

I don't normally vote on albums from one-time only trips, but I can't resist this time ;) Amazing photos, a real feast for the eyes.
Cheers, Anya.

Hey Anya,

Thanks for the nice words! I only had three days left after a conference, and tried to make most of it by driving the parkway up and down. Worked out pretty nicely, especially with the weather.. One-time only trips are not so bad after all!

Cheers,

Rick

James_WBest Drive Ever

Voted 10/10

So far the nicest drive I have been on. Nothing beats the point from Weeping Wall to Jasper, a must do for anyone.
