Overview

On July 5th, myself, Fred, Tom, and Tom's Boxer Sammy ventured off from Reno, Nevada to climb Round Top and East Sister. The smoke over Reno and Northern California took a temporary reprieve on Friday July 4th and Saturday July 5th (It returned in the early evening of July 5th after another big fire started in Northern California). So, while we had this nice break from smoke-filled skies, we head down to Carson Pass for some action on Round Top and The Sisters. I reached the treacherous summit of Round Top after everyone else on the mountain in our vicinity decided it looked too dangerous. We then tackled East Sister, which proved to be pretty straight-forward.

Given there are so many photos on the Round Top page, I figured I could post my own album showing Round Top and other sights in this beautiful area in the Sierra Nevada mountains south of Lake Tahoe. Below are some photos from the trip.
