September 2008After my first visit to Tanzania, I would have thought that was it: I had left behind the chance of a lifetime and Kilimanjaro would never have a place in my private summit log. But -as it often happens- I was wrong. A friend asked me the right question: would you mind to go back to Tanzania with me? Ghosts of the past began stirring, and a tiny voice kept saying inside me that things had not gone well in 2001, that I might have in my legs the chance to climb the highest peak in Africa. And we went back to Moshi.
