September 2008

After my first visit to Tanzania, I would have thought that was it: I had left behind the chance of a lifetime and Kilimanjaro would never have a place in my private summit log. But -as it often happens- I was wrong. A friend asked me the right question: would you mind to go back to Tanzania with me? Ghosts of the past began stirring, and a tiny voice kept saying inside me that things had not gone well in 2001, that I might have in my legs the chance to climb the highest peak in Africa. And we went back to Moshi.
These are the pictures of that second chance. Hope you enjoy some of them as much as we enjoyed our holidays.
