Into the heart of the Olympics

Dosewallips River Valley from Lost Peak Summit

The Dosewallips River, in the Eastern Olympic Range, cuts deep into the heart of the mountains. Full of a variety of landscapes, the Dosewallips is one of Olympics exceptional corridors and most unique areas. Not only is it beautiful for the five peaks that surround the head of the valley (Wellesley Peak, Sentinel Peak, Mount Fromme, Mount Claywood & Lost Peak), but also for the abundance of flowers, wildlife and meadows. Here's a few pictures to capture the essence of the main fork of the Dosewallips River Valley. Feel free to add any of your own to this album as well.
