Shots from the Open Space hills and Mt. Tamalpais State Park

Living in Marin, I do a lot of hiking in the beautiful hills and Mt. Tamalpais State Park that dominate the terrain of the North Bay across
the Golden Gate. Spring is the best time, when the slopes are green and flowers abound. Most of the hills and ridges range between 1,000 to 2,000' el. and Mt. Tamalpais is the county high point with the East Peak topping out at 2,571'

people converge upon this beautiful piece of heaven.

But then, I guess anything beats being locked up in the "concrete
jungle!" AWESOME gallery of photos!

Thanks Larry. Yes the SF bay area is a hikers paradise. To be able to drive 10 minutes (20 from SF) to a trailhead and be up in the hills looking out on the silent surrounding skyline is a blessing for sure.

Total agreement! I suppose your cat "The Duck" would like to do
some exploring (around) in that area, too! Have a good one ...
