Hiking along the northwestern coast of Mount Jaizkibel, a group of mountaineers found a very different environment than we are used to. A fascinating geology while the sea beat the shore beside us. The sandstone is there the predominant rock but it's mixed with harder materials. Water and wind action produce curious forms and sometimes spectacular formations. Another new thing was walking while feel the salt.

All the photos above were taken in November 22, 2008, during an outing that was a part of a members of the Spanish web community Pirineos3000 meeting.
