Explanation

This is an album to display single images of each of the erupting volcanoes that have been listed or displayed on SP. While dormant volcanoes are all very nice, I am hoping this will turn into a nice collection. Please let me know if there are some volcanoes which I haven't included, or pictures that could be switched out! Thanks!

So far we have: Ambrym, Anak Krakatau, Arenal, Augustine, Avachinsky, Bezymianny, Colima, Erebus, Etna, Fuego, Guagua Pichincha, Ibu, Karangetang, Karymsky, Kelud, Kilauea, Kluchevskoi, Kuku, Lassen, Mayon, Merapi, Mount Saint Helens, Nevado de Hulia, Nyiragongo, Pacaya, Papandayan, Popocatepetl, Reventador, Ruapehu, Sangay, Santiaguito, Semeru, Soputan, Stromboli, Tungurahua, Ubinas, Vesuvius, Villarrica, Yasur. Thanks to all the people that took these great photos!

I will try at some point to have the volcano's name displayed underneath each picture rather than the original photo title.

My pleasure. These are the only kinds of mountains I've been around the last 4 years and thought I might try offsetting the snowy dominance of the site just a little :)
