Images of Mt. Belknap, the first peak of 2008.

Mt. Belknap is significant for me as it was the very first summit of 2008, the first summit in after a lull of hiking and climbing in almost 4 years. Since that day on the top of Belknap, August 5th of 2008, there has been a hike to a peak every weekend thereafter. Mt. Belknap is the second highest summit in the Tushar Mountain Range, in the southern portion of Utah. It reaches 12,139 feet in altitude.
