Wasatch PlateauThe Wasatch Plateau, in Utah, is a huge area extending from the Uintas southward down to the Fish Lake/Boulder Mountain region. This area includes long ridges of 10,000ft. highpoints, a few 11,000 ft spots, huge drainages running down through enormous cliffs, and many, many lakes and streams. Some areas on SP in the Plateau area are South Tent Mountain, East Mountain, and Joes Valley (see the Related pages on the left of this page).
This area is not nearly as popular with the self-propelled outdoor enthusiast as it is with the hunters, ohv users, and folks that like to fish. With that said, this area has large untrampled wilderness areas that see nearly noone all year long.
