Visiting the canyon

I've seen a photograph taken in one of the Antelope Canyons in my guide and thought to myself that this must be one of the most beautiful places on Earth. However, I am always skeptical about expecting to see the places exactly as on the best photographs. So, I thought I was going to see rather dark and humid corridors crowded with people.

Instead, I experienced this natural wonder in an exact same way I could have only imagined. The Lower Antelope Canyon, that I chose due to its lower popularity than the Upper Canyon, was unbelievable. In early morning, there was enough light inside the canyon to light up the shades but the beams were not too bright yet. It was gorgeous! The soft, dry and sandy walls were like unpolished sculptures done by a real genius. The pleasant orange-to-maroon colors were more calming down than aggressive. This is truly an amazing place, so if you ever come around Arizona, you need to head towards these canyons to experience it on your own!
