Add Heading hereI have always considered Mount Meeker to be one of the most majestic mountains in all of Colorado. When I was 13 I went to camp directly across he road from Meeker and used to watch the sun set behind it every evening. A while back I climbed the east summit via Meeker Ridge. A storm rolled in shortly after we reached the summit so there was no time to consider traversing the knife ridge to the true summit. The ridge did appear to be very exposed indeed. I'm not sure that I am up to it. At some point I would like to try the west summit from the Loft.
