Allen Mountain & Grinnell Lake

[ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Allen Mountain & Grinnell Lake
The turquoise waters of Grinnell Lake are a result of glacial flour accumulation, and are fed directly by the three glaiers of the Grinnell Glacier Basin: Grinnell, Gem, and Salamander. The bulky peak behind the lake is Allen Mountain, with the summit of Mount Siyeh hiding in the shadows along the jagged ridge to the right.
