Allen Mountain & Grinnell Lake | [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ] | |||
The turquoise waters of Grinnell Lake are a result of glacial flour accumulation, and are fed directly by the three glaiers of the Grinnell Glacier Basin: Grinnell, Gem, and Salamander. The bulky peak behind the lake is Allen Mountain, with the summit of Mount Siyeh hiding in the shadows along the jagged ridge to the right. 11 August 2009 Comments |
