Thanks, it is a very pretty area and I hope to be standing on that summit sometime this summer.

You're missing out on an excellent opportunity
to throw a line into that water and catch
some fresh trout.

Is there camping (allowed) in that area ???

You are allowed to camp in the general area. The general restrictions are that you must be at least 200' away from any water source. I just checked the forest service website and I could not find any more specific restrictions listed for that lake. I'm not sure about weekends, but weekdays, the parking lot is pretty empty.

Weekdays are my best days to go.

I very seldom go on weekends anymore. Thanks!
