The moon is rising on a chilly May morning as we march along Kearsarge Pass Trail to Mt Gould. Peak is unknown but lies directly south of Heart Lake. May 07

Thanks, I was hoping to find out what the name of this peak was before posting it, but oh well...... Yes, it is always a treat to see a near full moon at the beginning or end of a day in the wilderness. :)

University Peak?

Is there something more important than mountains? Great photo. The eastern Sierra are my favorites, right after the Cascades. I guess the Olympics would come in THIRD. Sorry 'bout that, OlympicMtnBoy! Wishing YOU the best!! Please have a nice day!
