Along the Trail to Mount Jefferson

This view to the west shows much of the route to Jefferson. The trail continues here, then drops into the north basin from the saddle on the far left margin of the photo. Then its crosscountry over the ridgeline or around the slope to the left to reach the base of the summit. June 2009
