Alpenglow on Broken Hand Peak
2/12/06: Morning alpenglow on the north face of Broken Hand Peak. It looks like there are some interesting routes hidden on this side of the mountain!

This is a tempting face no doubt. It sure looks a lot different looking down it if my memory serves me. We descended, after summiting, along the ridge line down and left into the basin on the other side and I remember feeling the exposure when peeking down into the basin your picture is from. Thats all the snow in Feb!? We had nearly as much in June a couple years back. Nice pic, plenty of good hiking to get that perspective!
