ALPI COZIE, by the name of the Celtic King Cozio, who ruled the Alps to the current village of Fenestrelle (Finis terrae Cotio). Called by the French : Hautes Alpes, are considered by untold times :" The door of Italy". The Hills of Mont Cenis and Montgenèvre were crossed over the centuries by the greatest leaders in the story :" Brenno (400 B.C.), Hannibal (218 B.C.), Julius Caesar (58 B.C.), Charlemagne (773 A.D.), Napoleon (1796). Walking on theese mountains mean to recall the history of twenty centuries of mankind.
