Alpine Rhododendron

Alpine Rhododendron (Rhododendron vaccinietum), Rodnei mts, Romania
Alpine Rhododendron grows only in southern mountains like Pyrenees, Alps. In the Carpathian range, it can be found in Romania, mostly the southern Transylvanian part, but also more rarely in Rodnei, as well as the Ukrainian carpathes and some southern mountainsides in Slovakia (Fatra for example)
