Alternative Method for Crossing a Stream
We really didn't want to get our feet wet on this day. This fallen hemlock tree gave us an alternative method for crossing Naval Run. I'm not sure if the picture shows it well, but this "bridge" is big time steep, since it had fallen against a cliff on the near side of the stream.

Tiadaghton State Forest, PA. November 2006.
