Although not scenic in nature. This photo shows an important feature on Jagged's North Face route. This gravel ledge is located along the initial crux of the route. It consist of wet, ball-bearing sized gravel and makes for a nasty start to a great route. We opted to avoid this by continuing straight up along loose, low 5th class terrain which didn't prove much safer. 13 August, 2005
