Altyn Peak
Altyn Peak
The northeast face of Altyn Peak looked particularly impressive from this vantage point on the lower slopes of Apikuni Mountain. Interesting routes to Apikuni and Altyn both originate from the sparsely forested hanging valley visible in the lower right of the photo. Bulky Mount Gould rises up far behind and to the left of Altyn Peak.
