is North America's largest thrush (approximately 10 inches in length)
I spotted this one near Mary Jane Falls trail in July 2007.
Spring Mountains, Nevada.

Hasn't voted | He, he, actually no. I shot this photo "on the run". He was on the ground initially among the scree (uninteresting background), but when he saw me he jumped on a tree.
