Congrats on the summit! The Unicorn has always been one of my favorites. Hopefully, one of these weekends we can finally get together and climb something.

Also curious about the accident. Is there some hidden hazard that caused the accident (like loose rock, being off route, etc) that others should know about? Perhaps I could update the Unicorn page with some sort of warning. Or was it just one of those things that happen sometimes. Glad everyone made it out OK.

thanks! it would be great to climb w/you guys sometime...Unicorn was a perfect mixed climb for me. I really enjoyed it. Accident involved glissading...just one of those things that happens....

One member of our party mentioned coming up the scree field before you get to the notch and having a boulder sized chunk of rock come off a handhold on a wall....(along the side of the snowfield). Glad that one's loosened up now for others who follow!

Nice Unicorn page by the way .I checked it out before my climb. Thanks for the great info.!
