Nice hike. Not much of a route up from the main trail. But, not too bad.

Esperanza
I missed this summit when I hiked Wasson years ago. Made the summit of Amole in just over an hour from Esperanza. Hiked down, then visited the summit of Apache Peak. Shocked by the presence of an historic trail near the Apache summit - built up switchbacks and all, ancient and out of use, though, with 8 ft high cholla smack dab in the middle. Enjoyed quiet and solitude on both summits.

Nice little peak!
Did it together with Wasson and really enjoyed this nice little peak. The top felt like a real summit and no other people distinct from Wasson. Nice views too so well worth it.
The first hike of solace I did after being away from Tucson for 20 years, blessed me with a desert in full bloom...too bad I didn't have a camera.....

A nice quick side-trip after Wasson Peak, but this is not much of a peak destination, otherwise.

New Year's Eve Hike
A wee baby scramble on this one. Summit log could use replacement...lots of water damage.
A nice hike from the Desert Museum with my dad and our friend Chuck, who is 75 and hiking like a madman!

King Canyon TH to Wasson, Amole and then down Gould Mine Trail. A beautiful and very unique environment.
