An alternate route from Lower...
An alternate route from Lower Boy Scout Lake to Upper Boy Scout Lake. If you are comfortable on exposed slabs, then this route will cut some time off the approach. It avoids the boulder field and willows of the standard route, and is more likely to be snow free in early or late season. From LBSL head west on the north side of the lake and find your way to the chute on the right side of the slab. Go up the chute until you find an opportunity to gain the slabs. Walk up and left on the slabs to easier ground, and then head directly west to UBSL. There are many variations.
