Cheers, it was pretty spectacular. You come round a bend out of a narrow confined valley into a broad meadow surrounded by snow topped mpountains with the waterfall drawing you eye to the far side of the valley. Well worth a visit!

February there

can be something like springtime in mountains of Central Europe what can explain such serious amount of water falling here, picturesque place.

This was quite a mild winter unfortunately and although there was a fair amount snow fall there was also quite a lot of melt.

It does! But becasue it sits at quite a low altitude and is quite close to the sea, it has to be really cold for it to do so. It froze over last year see photos), which I unfortunately missed, but fingers are crossed for my trip up there this year!
