An unbelievably striking...
An unbelievably striking autumn slope on the west side of Lake Ann (see the upper right corner of this photo). Maple Pass (6,600 ft) is above. The trail to the pass traverses above the rock buttress at right. The trail over Heather Pass to Black Peak junctions off right about where this photo was taken. Oct. 6, 1996.
