| 5.5 hrs on the traverse….8-11 in Kanes book. I cut into the cliff band early for some fun scrambling. I set up a cairn or two. It is nice rock, some low 5th class ground, not much. Topped out below the unnamed peak. Did the traverse down the northwest ridge after the summit. Don't try to escape the ridge too early. You can hike up this peak as well, but that would be a bore I think. Looks like it could make a good winter ski though. Might give it a go this winter. | |
