It's funny last year I found a nest in the same tree at almost the same location. There is something about this spot that Annas fing particularly appealing. Watch for updates on this nest.

Are the Annas hummingbirds the ones that build their nests near hawks nests for protection? This picture is just fantastic

thanks. I have seen several and they are alway on the bottom limbs of trees, and the ones that I have seen are about head high. Maybe higher than skunks and cats and under the leaves so blue jays dont rob them. At least that was my guess.
