Annotated view of our route...
Annotated view of our route up Chair's Northeast Buttress. 1 -- Our first belay (three small nuts in rock); V -- Variation for first pitch (might be easier than our route up the S-shaped gully); 2L -- Martin's 2nd belay (tree anchor); 2H -- My 2nd belay (tree anchor about 70 feet past Martin's anchor); 3 -- 3rd belay (cam and nut cracks and/or a fixed pin if you can find it); 4 -- 4th belay (sunken picket in firm snow/ice). Incidentally, the summit is that corniced point at far right (a closer view here). Feb. 22, 2004.
