Antarctica or the Alps? It is...
Antarctica or the Alps? It is Lyskamm from Breithorn plateau. Left is west summit (4481m) while right is main or eastern summit 4527m. Below both peaks is the pyramid of Polux/Polluce (4091m), almost melted into the background. By the left edge is the very eastern part of Breithhorn with Roccia Nera (4075m). August 2005.

Thanks Mark! Yes, up there it is really hard to determine the season! I hope it will remain like this for centuries to come and that these abundant snows and glaciers will resist the global warming assault. But it is obvious they are retreating to higher elevations all the time. This should still be high enough for quite some time, at least I hope.
