Anthophora parietina on Spanish Lavender
Anthophora parietina builds its honeycombs in clay walls. Spanish Lavender (Lavandula stoechas pedunculata) is an important honey plant in the area. Taken while ascending Peña Lobera, Sierra de Villafranca. 13 May 2007.
