Approach to NE Ridge

9-August-2009: approach to the NE Ridge from near Upper Golden Trout Lake.

Note the awful-looking talus. We elected to avoid most of that by traversing a bit west / right, and following some slabs up.

If you descend the east face (class 2-3, sandy) you will end up back in that talus !
