Approach trail from the north

Approach trail from the north with a nice view of Matterhorn (left) and Wetterhorn (right). This is not a typical approach to Matterhon, Matterhorn Creek TH is much shorter, but I wanted solitude and a long hike (logged nearly 20 miles that day).

because I don't see any white stuff.

Just curious ... how much drinkable water do
you take on one of your "hikes?"

Assuming you'd have to bring water along
for your dog Duchess, or does Duchess only
drink WINE ???

	Hasn't voted	Duchess likes little red wine. I don't drink much on hikes, sometimes about 1 liter for 20 miles (if it is not too hot), I drink before and after, or I feel dehydrated - :) How much water do you carry with you in Arizona?
